I'll just go ahead and say it... And yes, I know that people will disagree...

The $10 Foie Gras wasn't made ethically!

Personally, I've never eaten Foie Gras because it's a step too far for me when it comes to animal abuse! To each their own... It's easy to be a critic of other people's choices behind the anonymity of a board like this. Sorry, not sorry!

I agree except for this.  I won't eat liver in any form.

I won't eat "steaks, or pork chops, baby lamb chops" if they've been in contact with foie gras.

FWIW, I also won't eat green bell peppers.  Any other color is fine,  just not green.

I won't eat green olives. Or black olives. Or olives of any color. But I do like olive oil.

Go figure.

I once became very ill after eating liver.

I once became very ill after eating a green bell pepper.

Since then, just the aroma of either makes me nauseous.

Just the thought of liver makes me nauseous. So happy they took that glop off the filet in Le Bistro, or I'd have to cancel our upcoming reservation.

The tenderloin looked smaller to me when I had it last week. Anyone think so? I had a Latitudes voucher and they let me get it with the Dover sole as a solo diner. It was barely enough food since the fish was thin, the foie gras was gone, and the tenderloin seemed smaller,
