Our tour guide Seiji was very knowledgeable and nice. Here’s a pic with our guide.

We circled around the Fish Market, stopping at a number of stalls for tastes of their wares. Seared wagu beef, soy beans, sake, flavored sesame seeds, fresh fruit, fish cakes, freshwater eel, tuna sashimi as well as other snacks.

Even though it rained on and off, we had a great time!

We finished up at a restaurant that a chef prepped a fish for sushi, then we ate some sushi. Like we needed more food!🤣

We bid farewell to our tour group (7 people total) and took a cab to TeamLab Borderless. I had tickets for a 12:30-1:00 entry.

I am hoping to go there in late October. Do you remember how far in advance you had to book your tickets? Did you book direct with them or with Klook?

I booked them directly through TeamLab. I believe I booked them 2 months before our trip. About $25 per adult. So awesome!!

Finished off our time there at the En Tea House. Ordered yummy tea and a dish of green tea ice cream which transformed our table with digital beauty!

@ninjacat123...you guys sure are not letting any grass grow under your feet.  Seems like you have been non stop since leaving home between the long flights and arrival.

After our rest at the ryokan we took a can to Shinjuku. Tons of neon lights and people! We met our guides Hiro and Shiojin, both around 24 and so nice! We first walked through a funky alley with over 100 bars/restaurant stands.

We stopped at a small place with a view of the passing train and city lights. We picked 2 drinks and two small plates, kind of like tapas.
