Carnival Cruise Stopped in Cabo 06.24.2024

I Was enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos when the Panorama sailed by about .5 miles off shore. 

They briefly stopped in San Lucas Bay and are now proceeding on to Puerto Vallarta. 

Anyone onboard know what the stop was for??

Very strange, maybe the captain got confused or lost?  Medical emergency, perhaps, to offload an ill passenger/crew member?

 

Panorama's schedule was to leave Long Beach on Saturday afternoon, en route to Puerto Vallarta (Tuesday).  She is not due in Cabo until Thursday.
