It depends on each port and the tides but in theory it should be fairly straightforward - they will announce which deck is most suited for mobility scooters and there will be members of the crew there to assist. john watson Posted July 19 #4 Share Posted July 19 I found the best way to sort out the gangway is to take a look over the side from the promenade deck at the side of the ship next to the dock. Quite often they have a choice of two, one which is not as steep as the other as they sometimes come off from different decks. In addition some of them have little steps a couple of inches high the full length of the gangway. In this case can the scooter user walk down the gangway and a more active person manage the scooter.
