Your favourite (seafood) Chowder - Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point

Hello. Sailing the Norwegian Bliss next month. Spam me with your favourite (seafood) chowders.  We're stopping in Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point.

In Juneau, my favorite chowder is at the Hangar.  That might seem unlikely because it's a bit of a tourist trap, but I visit Juneau several times a year for work and that place is at the top of my list.

 

In Ketchikan, I think Annabelle's has the best chowder.  Again, the place is well known, and they kinda rip you off with tourist prices, but the chowder is amazing.  

 

I'd say both of these places are short, easy walks but I see you're on NCL.  Their mooring locations suck in Juneau and Ketch.

Sitka on the main street in town is a tiny booth set up between stores. Best chowder Ive had in Alaska so far.

I second the recommendation for Annabelle's.  I'm not a huge fan of chowder myself, but my kids think Annabelle's salmon chowder is the best!

Was it Ashmo's?  I'm pretty sure they have chowder, but I love their black cod tips!

Another vote for the smoked salmon chowder at Annabelle's in Ketchikan. It's fantastic and something I've never found anywhere else.
