miss_rach Posted July 8 #1 Share Posted July 8 Last 2 times we went right from Mahogany Bay to the West End and spent the day. Assume time out there but thinking of doing something different when we get into Mahogany Bay. Looking to see what there is to do in Coxen Hole? Not really looking to snorkel or swim really. Just want to see if there are things to do since we haven't been into Coxen Hole. Is there a Rum distillery there that we could visit? Cheers! PelicanBill Posted July 17 #2 Share Posted July 17 There is little you can walk to. Shops, food and a new pool are in the port village. Otherwise, generally need an excursion or taxi.

Are you going to dock at Mahogany Bay or Coxen Hole? What cruiseline are you with? I can’t imagine anyone docking at Mahogany Bay and going to Coxen Hole. islandwannabee Posted August 20 #5 Share Posted August 20 Does anyone know if the pool is open and is there a charge?

I think you have to purchase a drink, maybe food? Not sure if there is a minimum charge.
ycl Posted August 21 #7 Share Posted August 21 If you want to spend the day at a beach, it seems the thing to do is take a taxi to West Bay beach area and rent lounge chairs at one of the beach clubs. Expect US prices and it can get very crowded if there are several ships in port. Certainly seems better than wandering around in the heat at another small town full of tourist shops.
