Explorer Aft F1 Suites -- any experience?

Recommended Posts

There are some aft F1 suites on Decks 7 and 8 on the Explorer -- 780-783, 874-877 -- with larger verandas than other F1s, which are mostly mid-ship. Can anyone tell me if there are noise, motion, or vibration issues with suites in that location? None of the suites have been reviewed in the Suite Guru post.

Many thanks.

We sailed in 877 on Explorer a little over a year ago. I liked the suite enough to book 876 on an upcoming cruise on Grandeur in October 2025. We had no problems with motion, vibration or noise. Of course, since the suites are aft, there might be some motion in heavy seas.

On Splendor, the larger F1 balconies have a lounger, while the mid-ship smaller balconies did not.  So we always book the F1s in the 87_ s.  Don't know if this is also true on Explorer or not.
