TerReuv Posted July 26 #1 Share Posted July 26 Just wondering what other's experiences are with using Barclay points to get Carnival gift cards vs. OBC. I am trying to decide which would be the best option. It's only $250, so not worried about what happens if I don't use all of it. If I get the gift card, then I will have to add it to the account once we board the ship. If I get the OBC, it should be there the first day if that is the day I select, correct? Has anyone had an issue with choosing OBC and it not showing up on their account? That is my biggest concern. Thanks!

I have never had a problem with the OBC, letter on the desk in my room when I arrived letting me know that I had received the OBC however I have now switched and taking the gift cards because I use them for other cruises I have booked

StephPS79 Posted July 26 #4 Share Posted July 26 I prefer just redeeming for a statement credit. And if you use it against an eligible purchase of $1500 or more, it's 1.5x value. 4
