We will be arriving on the Ovation Aug 11th . I'm assuming there's a shuttle into town? Any idea where exactly? We'd like to do some hiking on our own any suggestions? And how to get to the trail head? We are ok to hike 5 miles or so.

If the Ovation docks at the cruise dock north of downtown there will be shuttles to downtown Sitka which drop folks off at the Harrigan Centennial Center.

Mosquito cove 

Are a few I found but not sure if any are possible to walk to or take transportation too?

Thimbleberry looks to be a ways out of town. It's flag #5 on the map.

The Ovation creates a huge impact on the shuttle and town due to the sheer number of passengers. It can make shuttle lines very long and can create delays, especially if there is more than one ship there. We ended up being in port there with Ovation a couple of years ago on a smaller Princess ship and I was just thankful we go there first. Once Ovation arrived it was a madhouse!
