Forth Galveston Cruise Terminal

Eating in a restaurant on the wharf today I heard about a new terminal to be built. Del Monte Fresh Produce has outgrown their warehouse and will move to Freeport. The port of Galveston will use $142 million in reserves to build a new 165,000 square foot terminal and parking garage in its place. MSC has a 20 year agreement with the port for this terminal and other cruise lines will have the opportunity to rent berths there. This is news to get excited about that I didn’t know. I guess it was announced in February this year.

Where will the new terminal be located in relation to #10 the new Royal terminal?

Hi Marge . Actually the terminal is to west of  Pier 10 . 
Terminals are located at Pier 10 16 25 28

It is the Del Monte site and buildings being converted into cruise terminal . Enjoy your cruise .
