Izumi Is It Possible To Request No Soy Sauce or Salt?

Recommended Posts

We will be on Harmony in the new year and a member of our group can't do a lot of sodium. We are wondering if we can request that their food be made without the addition of soy sauce or salt at Izumi? We are looking to book specialty restaurants and we are hoping this is a restaurant we can all enjoy.  We have called RCCL, but haven't received a definitive answer (they SHOULD be able to accommodate, etc.). Hoping someone here might have experience with this. Thanks!

If you are talking about Izumi sushi then yes that should not be an issue.

For the Hibachi yes it can be done but please note that your food may be cooked separately in the back kitchen as opposed to the grill in front of you.

DW can't do butter or garlic so she asks them to do hers on the side with oil instead of butter and no garlic.  They usually grumble about it since it is extra work, but they end up doing it, mainly because it is an intolerance instead of a severe allergy, so a little cross-contamination won't matter.
