Wine and luggage thanks!

Recommended Posts

I read you can no longer bring water bottles but can you still bring two bottles of wine on Carnival? Also, is there a limit to how many luggage you can bring aboard thanks!

Both those items and much more addressed in the Carnival FAQ's.  Here's the link for you:

As ColeThornton mentioned, the Carnival FAQ will provide more detail, but the short answer is that you cannot bring on bottles of water, but could bring on cans or cartons of water that are under the limit for carrying on soda. Alternatively, Carnival sells bottled water in the FunShops that will be delivered to your cabin, or you can fill you refillable water bottle at any water station on Lido deck (or elsewhere around the ship, depending on the ship you are sailing). If you do refill from Lido, please use a cup to fill up your bottle for cleanliness purposes.

As for wine, the rule is 1 750-ml bottle of wine or champagne per adult in a cabin. Those bottles (as well as any canned soda/water you bring onboard) have to be in your carry on luggage for boarding the ship (and if you fly with the bottles of wine, they will need to be in your checked baggage for the airport).

As for luggage limits, there really aren't any beyond common sense. The Carnival FAQ has some broad limits, but many on here report that it is not enforced. My family of 4 normally has 2 suitcases, but sometimes 3. Remember that staff will need to be lifting your bags, so the 50lb limit the airlines have for checked luggage is a good rule for the cruise line.
