EZ Air charge fee? Is this new?

I have booked EZ air for our last 4 cruises.  I was going to pay for my cruise coming up and I notriced an extra charge listed as "included air fees" of $60.00 more added to my booking.  Is this something new? Why an extra fee?

I don’t see that on my bookings, or if I book a new one.

 

Do you have a TA/CVP that can help?  If not, you could call EZAir and ask.

Are you seeing this in your Travel summary? The travel summary always had a line item showing the included ‘taxes and fees’. I think with the new  CA law, where most prices have to show the total price, many Businesses still want to show you this line item.

 

I assume you total EZAir fare did not INCREASE by $60? This is just to let you know the amount of taxes and fees amount of your Air booking.

No, I am almost certain @C & C Love to Cruise invoice just has a line item that says ‘INCLUDED air fees’. Meaning this amount is part of the total airfare, not an additional charged amount, and just breaking out this ‘amount’ to identify it.

 

@C & C Love to Cruise, please verify. If you check the invoice, $60 was NOT added to your total due.

The line item has been there for years.   It is an included fee, not an additional fee.

I also see that in our booking. It’s listed under Pricing Details, Total Fare, Included Air Fees. I’m going to guess that it has something to do with the government fees that we pay whenever we book a flight. Of course that’s just my guess. If you find out, please let us know because we paid it too.

There was no added extra fee charge, just seemed strange they would put that on the invoice.  Thanks for clearing it up for me.
