I believe it's only for one ticket per excursion but no limit to the number of excursions. And when you buy that $300 Free At Sea upgrade you get $50 off a second ticket per excursion. That's one of those benefits I wouldn't use as a solo.

Hi Greg! SO good to see you on this side and I see you brought a few friends! It has been awhile since I have posted on Carnival but I did cruise the Mardi Gras last year. I miss you peeps!

I am new to this post and I just got back from the BLiss to Alaska on the 3rd. Since I am late to the party someone probably answered.

This was my 1st solo cruise and LOVED it! I have always known that the $50 off an excursion is per cabin - not per person. But after like 8 NCL cruises, I learned this trip that you can get $50 off each excursion you take in port. Once port I did 3 for $30 total because 2 were under $50.

Love your reviews and you and Sid are who made me curious about a solo cruise.

For those who don’t know a couple of my Neets Bay Bear videos from last year got millions of views. And I went from 850 subscribers to 85,000 subscribers.

It got me enough subscribers and view time to monetize YouTube and now I get a monthly deposit from them. It’s not huge money but it did pay me back for my entire trip last year.

So if you have some amazing videos I recommend uploading them to YouTube. The 1 minute shorts seem to reach the most people. Maybe you’ll get lucky like I did.

I'll subscribe and contribute to that Grey Goose upgrade lol!

On the food i went with a worker recommendation. Salmon donut and mix of the chicken and cheese/potato dumplings.

The donut came out hot right away but it was a 15 min wait on the dumplings. Total was $27

That’s where the bus picks you up but I said “the ship is right there..just walk it…it’s not as short as it looks because you have to walk around the entire state of Alaska to get to that ship.

@Saint Greg...WOW great weather, AWESOME pics!

There are many, many, summer jobs in Alaska.  I first learned of these on my cruise in 2009.

Some even provide housing and meals.  Trick is you have to get yourself to Alaska at your own expense.

Right now we have fellow fulltime RVers who are working their 2nd season in Skagway, she in retail he as a tour bus driver.  They even spent the winter in Skagway last year as they had a fire in their RV.  Apparently they work crazy long hours and make lots of money according to them.

Loving your review and pics!
