Help with joining Voyagers Club

I am trying to register online to become a Voyagers Club member but keep getting a error saying my email is already on file. Well, of course it is because I have an MSC account but am not a Voyagers Club member yet. I called their technical support line and the representative was not very helpful. Can you join VC by phone or when you get on the ship? I know the CC community will know the answer.

Are you trying to do the status match or just register?   It's possible you already have a Voyagers Club number, try logging in to the full account using your email address and look at your VC section.

I phoned whatever number I found for Voyager club a couple of weeks ago and they sorted it out for me. I think it too a day or two to show and then I had points from a cruise way back in 2012! Don’t log in when booking - that didn’t work at all but I was able to add voyager club number during the booking process
