Alchemy was super slammed. No seats. It was about 15

minutes just to order. But things settled down and I was able to get a seat before my drink was ready. I’m on Julian’s side of the bar tonight.

We just ignore them and go to the Diamond area.  If late, they just move us along.

I wanted to eat in cucina tonight. And be out by 8:45. I hit manny acosta’s 6:45 show. At the time the wait was 30-40 minutes so I thought I would be safe requesting it just before the show started, 6:44.

 

At 7:01 the wait time when down to 10-20 mins so it was looking good.

After the show I still had 10-20 min and there was an opening at alchemy so I thought I got time to grab and go.

That was 7:23. 7:32 my table was ready but my drink was still a work in progress with half a dozen others.

 

 

Got my drink 7:45 and just hoping they still have my table because we’re beyond the 10 minute hold.

No shirt. He has a Santa cap that is only for December cruises. A kilt for Scotsman cruises…and I had my alchemy bar pin on him but took it off for my NCL and Princess cruises last year and then I couldn’t find it when I got on Jubilee in February.

I got to Percy’s show right as he was being introduced and it’s packed.

 

 

Even though everyone knows there ain’t any seats I walked all around the place with confidence and found exactly what I was looking for.

I know at one point a couple days ago when he was telling us he was doing two different pg shows for yesterday he also told us he was doing two different adult shows tonigh. But now he’s saying they told him to repeat this show.

I wonder when they actually release your table after the 10 minute hold time. I don't actually ever notice someone ever checking me in at MDR on Carnival, just showing to my table. And sometimes the waiter doesn't show up until 5 minutes after I get to my table too.

It’s happened to me a couple times this cruise. Usually when I’m waiting on a coffee or something. It’s almost unnoticeable but you end up with a different table number than what was assigned.
