stefanny28 Posted August 24 #1 Share Posted August 24 We are in the process of looking at return flights for our Celebrity Millenium cruise from Seoul to Tokyo (Yokohama). There a cheap and direct flight leaving NRT at 10:30am. Do you think it is feasible ? There's a NEX train at 5:44am (arrives at 7:19am) and another one at 6:22am (arrives at 7:39am). We are flying Business, will this make the check-in process faster? There's another flight but it's the next day and we have been to Japan twice so we would like to not stay post cruise. Please advise. Not booking the tickets yet but soon. Thanks
d9704011 Posted August 24 #2 Share Posted August 24 I'd say the 1030 flight out of NRT is not feasible on the morning of your arrival in Yokohama.
stefanny28 Posted August 25 Author #3 Share Posted August 25 Thank you so much. We better stay in Yokohama and fly out the next day then. Any suggestion as where to stay and what to do in the area?

I think you should turn your attention to how and when you plan on getting to NRT for a 1030 flight before you map out a day in Yokohama or Tokyo. stefanny28 Posted August 25 Author #5 Share Posted August 25 We already know how and when to go to NRT for our flight. It's a question of how soon can we get of the ship. Thanks anyway.

Celebrity Millennium usually arrives Yokohama at 6:30am. Japan port clearance takes time, the earliest can get off is after 7:30am.
Aka414 Posted October 10 #10 Share Posted October 10 Do you think it's ok if my flight leaves from Narita at 2:50pm? Ample time to transit from Yokohama cruise terminal to Narita?

Riding Narita Express train (runs every hour) is more punctual than Narita airport bus, from Yokohama station to Narita Airport in 90 min. Taxi from cruise terminal to Yokohama station is 15 min ride. If you leave Yokohama station at 9am, you will be at Narita Airport before noon.

There are 6 of us and I'm wondering if it'd be cheaper to call private transfer instead?

On top of that, you and your party need to transfer from the cruise terminal to Yokohama Station. For six people, a private transfer is probably something worthwhile looking into. I have no suggestions on that one.... never done it that way.

One of the problem for a 6 seater minivan - if all passenger seats are being used (all three rows of seats are occupied), then there is little luggage space (2 large checked suitcases)
