Rare aring75 Posted September 5 Author #126 Share Posted September 5 There’s a little “village” with assorted food kiosks along the way. The Salt Yard has lots of choices for lunch and snacks. There are also public restrooms available here.
Rare aring75 Posted September 6 Author #127 Share Posted September 6 Returned to the ship. There’s a small shopping area right at Pier 22. Picked up a couple of souvenirs for the folks back home. Watched from the balcony as we set sail for our return trip home.
Rare aring75 Posted September 6 Author #128 Share Posted September 6 I think this one is my favorite of the cruise collection so far. Watched the sunset from our table in the dining room as we bid our last farewell to Canada (at least for now).
Rare aring75 Posted September 6 Author #129 Share Posted September 6 This was our second formal night this cruise. Also known as lobster night in the MDR. Mark loves the French onion soup and gets it most times that it’s offered. I always order the Vidalia onion tart. I think it used to be much better, but this one was pretty good. We both got a Caesar salad as well, but I’m pretty sure you’ve seen several photos of those already further back in the thread.
Rare aring75 Posted September 6 Author #130 Share Posted September 6 I was too slow to get a picture of Mark’s lobster dinner while still in the shell. So here it is already removed. I wanted the tortellini, but asked if I could have my lobster served with that instead.
Rare aring75 Posted September 6 Author #131 Share Posted September 6 Baked Alaska for Mark and a cheese plate for me. Could we get a couple of crackers on the cheese plate please Royal? I will happily trade that celery. And has anyone else noticed the tropics are starting to get a little active? It’s that time of year. Going to need to keep an eye on the forecast until November at this point I think!

That looks like a great cheese plate, but it is definitely lacking crackers!!!🙅♀️

Rare rrraydon Posted September 8 #134 Share Posted September 8 Enjoying your review. I did a 5 day sailing on Liberty in June with just the Halifax port, loved Halifax (booked to do one again this June). I leave in just a few weeks to do the 9 night. Our itinerary does not have the overnight in port as yours does, I wish it did! Thanks for all of the info!
