RCCL credit card onboard credit

If I transfer onboard credit from my credit card rewards,  can it go to pay for excursion I have reserved or are these excursions or are excursion paid before the cruise?

Anything reserved pre cruise has to be paid for at the time of booking.

All excursions must be paid for when you book them. If there is OBC in your account, you can use it to pre-purchase excursions. It doesn't matter where the OBC comes from. If you have already purchased an excursion and then add the OBC, you can't retroactively use that OBC to pay for the excursion. You could, however, cancel the excursion and then re-book it using the OBC.
