TGfromTX Posted September 16 #1 Share Posted September 16 I read an article over the weekend that stated: Celebrity Cruises has long been committed to its art collection — the line was first to offer iPod tours. It sounds like these are self guided tours onboard. Does anyone know how to find them? I didn't see them advertised on my Beyond sailing.

sunpsyche Posted September 16 #4 Share Posted September 16 Found this article from 2010 which states to be introduced on Solstice, Eclipse and Equinox.. I’ve never seen it. https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Celebrity-Cruises-introduces-iPad-art-tours
TGfromTX Posted September 18 Author #5 Share Posted September 18 I searched my IPhone app store by Royal Caribbean developer apps and located a Celebrity Edge Access Tour app. It seems to need to be on the ship to work - at least it won't play at my home correctly. That may be the current version of it - but I don't see a Non-edge version and my next trip is on one of their older ships. Maybe someone will see this thread and test it out. Tom and Ingrid Posted September 18 #6 Share Posted September 18 I also see a 2023 article and an associated X tour (Art, Architecture & Design) - but both seem to refer only to E class ships: Guests interested in art are offered an "Art, Architecture & Design" tour on board all three ships. On a 75-minute tour, which takes place several times a week, the most important objects on each ship are presented in an expert manner. The art tour debits the on-board account with the equivalent of around 50 euros. Interested passengers can find more details on the individual works of art in their cabins in an “Art Book” and in an “Art Collection” folder.
