In the meantime, after the Family Feud Live was over, I went to the Amari Bar for a Pain Relief. I then met Patti at the Piano Bar as she was saving a seat for me. She then went back to the cabin. Hans, the Piano Bar piano player is off tonight, so Francisco, who is the cocktail piano player, is going to do an Elton John / Billy Joel tribute show. He doesn’t sing but plays the piano beautifully. The crowd will do the singing for him. It was a lot of fun.

 

 

 

Afterwards it was back to the cabin for the night. I was a bit hungry so I ordered some room service. It was delivered in 20 minutes. I ordered the Korean BBQ pizza which was not good, and an order of chicken tenders which was okay. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

 

Coming up next:  A full day in Bermuda, including a visit to St. George, and Bermuda Fun Golf.

I may live in KY, but in the Eastern Leauge, I root for the Harrisburg Sentors. I grew up accross the river from there, and also went to some games when I was younger

Not yet, but we will if you guys want to go, like I said it is small, quiet, but IMHO from someone who doesn't drink, the Strawberry Daquiri [virgin]was made with real stuff, and we loved the Nachos.  Ann said the alchol drinks were good too. if you get a Taxi I think its like 4pp, but we walked there, just past the Royal peir.  I don't know if Youtube is allowed but there is a few reviews online for it from a couple named Parodeejay

Great review. I've been away from Carnival for a few years and I don't know if I've been on a cruise with you and your wife before or if I  feel like I've met you from your reviews:)  

 

I will be on this ship in November. How is the nonsmoking casino section working out? On my last NCL cruise, I was driven out of the casino from all the smoke. I'm an ex-smoker so I'm not trashing anyone.

I liked the non smoking section because I could always get a seat at blackjack. To tell you the truth I didn't think that the smoke was that bad in the regular casino this time, or maybe I'm just getting immune to it. 😎

Or they have made progress on the issue. Most of the scathing reviews I saw about it were about a year old.

Day # 4 – (September 3rd)  -  Bermuda   (All Day). 

 

We were up at 6:30am to a warm sunny day here in Bermuda. The sun is rising over the Great Sound…..

I head up to Java Blue for my morning coffee, and then back to the cabin to work on the pictures for a while. Patti heads out to take pictures of some of the venues with no people in them. Here is the Piazza San Marco from up on Deck 5……

 

 

Patti heads aft on Deck 5, and the first venue she comes to is Piano Bar 88 where I ended my night last night……

We went I think the first night to see the comedy. Chris Clarke came up and let off a few expletives before remembering this was the family show. He seemed to be off his game after that. We were sitting at the very back right beside the DJ booth and when he came back, he said to Tommy "I hope I don't get thrown off for that, I completely forgot". He was sweating and looked very nervous. A couple nights later, we had new comedians. I assume him and Tommy just got off in Bermuda and either joined the Vision of the Seas, or took a couple days off until the Pride arrived, or flew on to their next assignment. I saw Tommy in the main theater the next night but never saw Chris anymore.

I was there for that show as well, and agree with your assessment. I went to another of his shows and he was much better.
