Rare schmoopie17 Posted September 25 #26 Share Posted September 25 Glad you enjoyed the Jade. After cruising on five NCL ships, the Jade remains our favorite. Not too big...not too small...in the words of one of the Three Bears, it is "just right". We just debarked from the Escape (our second favorite ship) and the service was, without exception...exceptional. But we still say the service on the Jade was exceptional plus. Food on both ships was good to great...as was bar service. We tend to gravitate to our favorite bartenders and Shane on the Jade (our favorite) and Jay on the Escape (a very close second) are both great. Looking to get back on the Jade again in the near future.

Just ready to disembark and while the weather in ports was mostly pleasant, it has NOT been nice at sea. Very windy and cold on deck; almost all the outside activities cancelled all week and the top decks closed several times. It’s also been kept way too cold in the public areas and not comfortable most of the time. Everybody has stayed bundled up, even while dining. Rare BostonGal35 Posted September 28 #29 Share Posted September 28 we were on this same sail and really enjoyed it. as a lifelong new englander, I've never been to any of the ports! I would absolutely do this itinerary again, it was simply gorgeous.
