Rare Radio Posted Thursday at 01:01 PM Author #77 Share Posted Thursday at 01:01 PM Good morning and Welcome to DAY 5 of "LIVE" from Symphony of the Seas. We have arrived in Port Nassau. We actually arrived a little earlier than scheduled at 7:30 am. We are currently docked at the pier with Celebrity Beyond. MSC Seascape, and Carnival Conquest are also scheduled to be with us here today. I have been to Port Nassau many times, but this is the first time I have been to the NEW Port Nassau with the new arrivals building, the new restaurants, all of the new vendor stalls and the Junkanoo Museum. It will be nice to explore the area and all that it has to offer. I will also try to see how the construction is going with the Paradise Island Royal Beach Club. Here are a few pics from this morning. Thanks for tuning in. Radio I can see Atlantis at sunrise. The Port Nassau pilot has boarded. It looks like we will be sharing the pier with Celebrity Beyond The Contemporary And Majestic Celebrity Beyond British Colonial Hotel (this is no longer a Hilton property) A lot of Celebrity Beyond passengers are watching us as we dock at the pier. We can see some of the Royal Beach Club under construction.

Rare Radio Posted Friday at 12:05 AM Author #79 Share Posted Friday at 12:05 AM Hello everyone and good evening. Today was a very nice day in Port Nassau. I did not have a chance to see everything that I wanted to but I will be here next week. I got off the ship around 9:30. When I sailed MSC Seascape last year, you could see that there was a lot of construction going on but nothing was opened. All passengers had to enter a very long line just to leave the port area. Things are much more open now and are very easy to navigate. There are about 45 vendor stalls that have been recently built for individual vendors. There are also maybe 30 actual areas with air conditioning for shopping and dining. These areas were most popular today because of the warm temperatures (86F) I wandered over to the British Colonial Hotel around 11am. It appears that the hotel has had a complete remodel of the exterior and hotel grounds. There are now two swimming pools and a new area for outdoor lunch. It seems that the owner of Margaritaville (next door) is also the owner of this hotel. (British Colonial Hotel) I spent a couple of hours over there just having some lunch, relaxing, and taking a few photos. I stopped at a few places in the port area while on the way back to the ship. I was very impressed with what has been completed so far. The Nassau cruise port is in phase 2 of construction. Phase 3 will include remodel of 2 area blocks that are connected to the port and also include a Waterpark. There are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in. Radio I got off of this ship around 9:30 Symphony of The Seas Symphony of The Seas is much larger than Celebrity Beyond They are both beautiful ships. The Arrivals building The arrivals building large TV display provides entertainment for cruise passengers The Port offers a very open atmosphere. You can rent a taxi or scooter here. Lots of shopping The vendors are very friendly Workers were preparing for a concert at the new amphitheater. There were plenty of clean restrooms. I didn't make it to the Junkanoo museum. My activities will include Casino Royale, Starbucks, the Solarium, and "news watching" The forecast for today is mostly clear skies, with a chance of rain later. Warm temperatures (80F) with a wind speed of 19mph. Here are a few pics (most are from yesterday at British Colonial in Nassau) Thanks for tuning in. We were told by staff members that kids do virtual learning while on board. I think gone are the days when there were not many school age kids sailing when school starts. I'm late on this, but we sailed last October 1st and brought our middle school aged child. We usually take him out for a week for vacation, we figure the very start or very end of the school year is the least amount of actual learning being done, lol. Rare Radio Posted Friday at 10:34 PM Author #90 Share Posted Friday at 10:34 PM Hello everyone and good day. Wow, what a perfect day for a day at sea. It seemed like every passenger was up on the pool decks today. I'm sure it wasn't everyone, but it was very packed. The solarium was packed today and passengers filled the pool area on Deck 15. The music was playing, and all the bar servers were very busy for most of the day. I forgot to mention that I went to the Top Tier event the other day that was held at the AquaTheater on Deck 6. There are many Crown and Anchor members on board. GOLD 1489. PLATINUM 496. EMERALD 496. DIAMOND 261 DIAMOND PLUS 380 PINNACLE 43 The diving team did a small performance for all Crown and Anchor members who attended. Tonight is formal night, and the main dining room will offer Maine Lobster as the suggested course. My preference for formal night is the Baked Alaska that I can't seem to get enough of. Hmm. . . (Maybe I can get two of them.) It seems that the Americano machine in the Crown Lounge is out of order "𝘖𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺" You would think that some passengers would not be able to consume any coffee. . . No worries. Just show your Seapass up at Cafe Promenade for unlimited Americanos, Lattes, cappuccino etc. Plus, there are several large flasks of Coffee being served in the Crown Lounge. The Crazy Quest Gameshow is tonight. I have heard a lot about it. I will try to stay up. . . Thanks for tuning in. Here are some pics from today. American Express credit cards periodically has a statement credit for Resort Pass. The last one just ended 9/30. My cruise on 2/16/25 was too early to book and by the time it was it ended. Hope it will come back for a cruise in Sept. 2025.

(For Norwegian, Carnival, and other Cruise lines) The parking garage at Cape Liberty can be used if you have a handicap placard, or if you are a consecutive cruiser. Others can park in the parking lot. After 1:00 p.m. all passengers can use the parking garage. The Statue of Liberty can be viewed clearly when it is not cloudy and raining. There was not a good view of her today. The NASA cap and me kind of go together. I am a big fan, and I can barely be seen without wearing my NASA cap. I heard more than several of them. Radio . Rare Radio Posted 21 hours ago Author #98 Share Posted 21 hours ago Good morning and 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟳 𝗼𝗳 "𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘" 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀. I feel bad for most of the passengers on board Symphony of the Seas today. This is their last day of the cruise and will begin debarkation in "𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭" Bayonne, NJ tomorrow morning at Cape Liberty Cruise Port. Fortunately, your intrepid reporter will be sailing again next week with 70 other passengers. Royal Caribbean calls us "𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦' cruisers, but we just say B2B cruisers. I was able to watch the production show "Flight: Dare to Dream" last night in the Royal theater. It was spectacular. I normally am not one to watch production shows or musicals on cruise ships, but I heard a lot about this one and I'm glad I was able to watch it. The music was very good. The show made you feel very good, very proud, and very sad. I give this show the Radio " 𝘵𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘴 𝘶𝘱" approval. I also went to the Crazy Quest show in StudioB at 11:30 (yikes) I normally don't stay up that late. Crazy Quest show was wild, with a lot of passenger energy, I didn't stay for the whole show, but it was very fun to watch. Here are a few pics from last night. Thanks for tuning in. Radio The Royal Theater was packed for the show I love the Space Station chapter This was a very nice flight history "lesson" Moon Landing "War of the Worlds" spoof Wright brothers Wright brothers first flight. HelenaCruiser2012 Posted 18 hours ago #100 Share Posted 18 hours ago Hi Radio, we've been following along and love your reviews. We're scheduled to join you tomorrow! Have you heard anything about a potential itinerary change next sailing due to the weather in the Gulf expected to become a hurricane and threaten FL and the Bahamas when Symphony is in the area next week? In 2004, we were on Mariner when it was being chased by Hurricane Frances and spent an extra couple of days out at sea. Thanks!
