We left the cruise with an $800 refundable credit on our credit card due to applying OBC to pre-purchased shore excursions. It has been three weeks since returning home and we are wondering when we can expect to see our credit card receiving the money from Seabourn. The matter has now been resolved. However, it is disappointing that this isn’t being proactively sorted for those affected. Recently we partnered with a new software vendor for onboard financial transactions. Due to this change, our shoreside Accounting team is having to manage these refunds individually …. Please note, automatic billing refunds cannot be processed if no original charges were assessed to the registered card. While we anticipated minimal impact, unforeseen factors have caused significant delays during this fleetwide initiative, thereby catching us unaware. Be assured, our Accounting Department is diligently working through these as quickly as possible.
