Age and Sail&sign card

I was just looking to see if someone can confirm this. If you're buying an alcoholic beverage and they swipe your card, it will tell them that you're over 21 right? I'm pretty sure this is how they do it but just want to check because I'm 22, and look like I'm 18, but I don't really want to be carrying an extra i.d. around with me all day while I'm onboard

I can see, tropicalconcrete, that you haven't been aboard one recently. The cards look identical, at least on Paradise, but it will tell them whether you are allowed to purchase alcohol.
