I am new to cruise critic and can't find the answers to my posts. I was wondering about excursions in Europe. We will travel on "Brilliance of the Seas" the end of June, 2006. Any tips on great spots to see in those ports?

Go to Royal Caribbean's roll-call boards for the Brillance in June. Lots of people will be able to give you suggestions.

I've spent as little as $50 and as much as $1000

 

It depends on the type of cruise, an exotic cruise for two weeks with expensive shore excursions or a 3 night mexican with no shore excursions.

#10 or #11 spent on bingo (I play most every time), drinks, soda cards, a few things from the shops, casino (just a little), tips and pictures.

IN 7 days we spend around 200 dollars

Definitely #11 (x3)... bar tab, photos, tips, miscellaneous purchaes. Could we do it cheaper? Yeah, probably - just haven't tried yet.

Seven day ...more than four hundred, not including shore excursions. Total includes tips, which I do include because they are not included in the price of a cruise.

For us to truly enjoy the total experience with wine, drinks, flowers for my wife, etc., etc. we have always exceeded #11 on every cruise, whether it be for 4 days or 12 days

I was really surprise to see the number of people here who spent less than $200! I thought I was good when our lowest one came out to just over $600! That's with not doing any ship excursions. It must be the Bingo! :)

Around 500 on a 7 day cruise(includes everything, including casino) and around 800 on a 12 day cruise(same inclusions).

okey thanks for all the replies, it seems like people have spent much more money than I thought, so instead of the poll, just say like in average how much you spend for EACH person onboard the ship, then I mean SPA, casino, perfums, drinks, tip, etc...

It really depends if the kids are with us are not . That makes a huge difference!! I guess over $400.00 anyway due to dh and I like to get a massage to wind down as we start the cruise. Wine at dinner drinks by the pool,latte in the morning,blackjack at night wow it adds up! You can't take it with you and life is to short to be stingy on vacation enjoy yourself!:)

11..don't know who could only spend 400...with 2 adults and 2 kids...for a 7 day cruise includes tips, drinks, excursions, photos, and any kinds of gifts...we're more like 800.00
