does anyone know whether the star will be in dry dock or wet dock? more importantly, will other repairs or improvements be done to the ship beyond the fire damaged areas? if so, what will be done?

Yes she is going to be at Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany. She is currently in route to there, a friend of mine who is on board as a welder for Fl said that they are doing a lot of prep work on the way over, including taking out all carpet from all cabins and halls and removing the pool which was damaged as a result of the fire.

Aside from that it sounds like a all out party in route, he reports everyone is staying in in the best cabins and all the bars are working over time at crew prices.

With the extensive fire damage on the Star I would think that Princess would be delighted in getting that area repaired for the May target date. Probably not looking to do anything else.
