Best way to get from San Pedro pier to Disneyland

We are arriving to the San Pedro pier in L.A. on the NCL Star and want to go to Disneyland for a few days after the cruise. What is the best way to accomplish this? Is there some kind of shuttle or train or do we have to take a taxi? Any idea of the cost?

Thanks

Rent a car. You will need one in Anaheim anyway unless you plan to only go to Disneyland and never leave the hotel. A downside is that the only agency close to the pier is Enterprise, and I believe they are closed on Sunday, so that may not be an option. You could take a cab or shuttle to Long Beach Airport (about 6 miles) and rent a car there from most of the majors.

You could take http://www.Supershuttle.com from the ship to Disneyland if you don't want to rent a car, but it will be more expensive, and you would also have to take it back to the airport when leaving.

You can get price information for any route on Supershuttle on their website above. It depends on how many people are in your party in addition to the destination and type of vehicle you select.

My daughter and I did the reverse...went from Disneyland to San Pedro via Prime Time Shuttle: http://www.primetimeshuttle.com/

We paid $46 for the two of us in a shared van - but we were the only ones in the van.

We took Supershuttle from John Wayne Airport to our hotel near Disneyland, and that cost $10/per person.

Also took taxi from San Pedro to Long Beach Airport after cruise for $35 total.
