Though we will be bringing her original birth certificate with us, we fibbed on her registration birth date so that the record will show her as 2 years old at the time of our cruise. Has anyone ever done this before and will they check her actual birth certificate to verify her age? Also, I read on another post that children must be potty trained to use the pools. Rare Roz Posted April 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2006 My understanding is that the DOB you give when you sign up for the cruise must agree with the documents you present. Camp Carnival aside for the moment, you may run into some security/immigration issues. You run the risk of not being able to board at all. My advice would be to get this situation straightened out ASAP. And yes, Camp Carnival is very strict with ages, for a variety of reasons.
