Got docs for 5-13-06 Fantasy sailing and we were upgraded!! :D Booked a 6b guaranteed and got a Category 11 balcony suite! We are so excited!! It has a partially obstructed view, but I don't care. It was free!!!

Just wondering if anyone has pics or information on these suites as I have only stayed in an oceanview and have no idea what to expect. We are in V34 to be exact.

Thanks!!

Wow do people still not know that I am the resident Fantasy Class Category 11 and 12 expert around here?!?! :p :D

Pics, info, reviews (a few)

Check this link below:

There's even some obstructed view pics in there somewhere.

Feel free to ask me any questions, after you check all the pics and info.

Thanks for the info! Doesn't look like the view will be too bad from the balcony. Aww...heck...I don't care if it is! After all, I am not paying for it:p

My boyfriend and I are so excited. It is going to be so romantic! This is my third cruise, but his first, so I am glad he gets to experience it in "style".

30 days and counting!!!!!

Can't wait to be a member of the F.C.V.D.C.

And hmmm...

You're going with your boyfriend?

The one benefit of the obstructed views are that, you have a little more privacy in case you want to hang out and have coffee in the mornings, cocktails at sunset, and play "dominos" or "twister" or "something" in the evening.

Not that this is romantic or anything, but did you notice in the pictures, that in the Category 11s, there is a mirror behind the bed?

Make sure that you pack a bungee cord to hold open the balcony door, if you want that for an option.

We were in V9 last Nov. But we weren't upgraded, we had selected that cabin when we made our res. So, yes enjoyit, it was a free upgrade. The nicest part was how quiet it was up there on the Verandah Deck because there are so few cabins. We also didnt' have any doors across from us because the few interior cabins up there open up on the other hallway (even number side). Also boarding took all of 15 minutes from the time we stepped in the terminal. VIP boarding meant we were the only ones in the Skipper's Club when we came in and then we were escorted directly onboard.

and laughed our a$$es off. :p Should be interesting!

The obstructions are good for blocking people from the sight, but there is nothing extra to block people from the sound! If this boat's a rockin'....;)

Thanks for the tip of the bungee cord. I have already started making a list from all the tips I've found on the boards.
