fishman620 Posted April 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2006 I was wondering about assigned seating for dinner on the first day of the TP cruise. With so many people still on board from the last cruise, waiting for their late night flights, will we still have our assigned seating? We are on the earlier assigned dinner seating. Also is it difficult to find spots by the pool on the first day, because of all the people waiting to get off of the ship?

MichTraveler Posted April 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2006 In addition to open seating in the dining room, the buffet is open for dinner the first night. After that, the buffet is just pizza and salad bar.
SeaYa52 Posted April 16, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2006 Do the passengers from the previous cruise stay on the TP the same way in Honolulu?
sunsetme Posted April 21, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2006 passengers can stay on till about 8pm. many get off though and go to hotels, some sightsee or shop--its not as crowded as I thought it would be.
SuiteCruiser Posted April 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2006 No, in Honolulu, there are flights throughout the day, so it is the same as any other cruise, you leave in the morning. The ship sails at 5PM that day, so they need to do the full turnaround. The reason they allow people to stay on in Papeete is because the flights leave at night, and the people flying home directly from the cruise wouldn't have anywhere to go.
