Amsterdam Question

The Amsterdam (sister flagship with Rotterdam) was launched in 99-2000. She is shorter than Vista class ships and is approx 780 ft. I don't know if the balcony is larger than the OOsterdam S suite's. We won't be on the Westerdam until September.

The "S" suites are larger, approx. 556 sq ft but has no "SS" rooms. The dressing rooms in the suites have a small sink, but no second bathroom sink or extra shower stall. There is much more drawer space on the "R" class ships.

Hope this helps,

GN

Have sailed a couple of times on the Amsterdam. Someone here reported that they found the ship to be dirty. We just did a 15 day Hawaiian cruise on her and found her to be just as clean and lovely as when we sailed on her in 2002.

The suites are larger than those of the Vista class. And the verandahs are much larger as well. There are 2 lounge chairs and a small cocktail table in between them. There is also a good size (small on the Vista ships) round table with 4 chairs - great for having a meal out there.

And yes there is a lot more drawer space on the Amsterdam!!
