We will be taking our first cruise with our 14 yr old dd, we would like to play in the casino together some, but will they allow her in to watch?

Me and DW, just got off Triumph and when we where in Casino I saw young kids in Casino watching for awhile but then a securty guard comes over and checks ID's if they look out of place and young.

Your DD will probably get away with sitting with you longer than if she was standing behind you, But also remember if she hits a big win on a slot she probably won't be able to keep it as she is a minor:(

( they do have many cameras in casino)

On the Miracle last year, they let the kids walk through to get from one area of ship to other(video arcade ). They werent allowed to stay and watch.

Your daughter will find so many things to do and be with kids her age.

Have a great time. My boys want no other vacation since they first cruised. They are going on #3 in July.

If she looks 14, chances are she will be told to leave. We were recently on the Conquest and my DS, who is 13, was sitting at the Casino bar one night ordering and drinking a coke. (He was at the end closest to the slot machines.) DH and I were playing the slots, just a few feet from where DS was sitting. The bartender told him he had to move to the other end of the bar (Promenade side.)

I saw teens watching other passengers play, and 9 times out of 10 they were asked to leave.

Ok I hate to even ask this question but I am not current on this message board lingo. Could someone please tell me what DD and DW stand for. I realize you are talking about your wife or daughter, ect but I do not understand the first D. Sorry but this has been driving me nuts. :)

Thanks
