I am looking at two different cruises on Celebrity, one is the Zenith and the other is the Constellation. Both are 11 days and there is a considerable difference in price between the two of them. Can someone please tell me the plus and minus of each ship?

We have been on the Mercury and throughly enjoyed it and understand that one is older then the other but what a difference in price!!! Please help me understand more about both ships.....

Hi, I am guessing the pricier cruise is Constellation?

I have sailed both ships.

Major differences...Connie is the newest ship...Zenith is the oldest.

Connie holds close to 2,000 people. Zenith about 1400.

Connie has a Specialty Restauarnt and Aqua Spa Cafe

Zenith has neither.

Both offer a wonderful cruise. It just depends on what you, as

a passenger are looking for.

Connie offers a much more modern feel to her. Zenith a more

homey feel.

Both feel great to me and I would sail either of them again.:)

I also have sailed on both ships and totally enjoyed both. The Constellation is my favorite ship and I have already booked her for an 11 day cruise this December 8. It will be my third time on the ship. The Connie has a fantastic fitness center and has the thalassotherapy pool. There is a healthy food buffet in the spa area and it has a fine specialty restaurant. The main buffet is in my opinion the best one I have been to and has several specialty stations like waffles, pastas, and sandwiches. The Constellation has been voted the best ship for the past few years and is newer, more modern, and offers many more amenities. there is nothing wrong with the Zenith but if you can afford it, try the Connie.
