KJRottie Posted April 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Hi everyone, I was wondering if you can get off the ship before all the people that have booked excursions thru Carnival? I'm sure that you can, right? I assume we all get off the same place, on the ship that is. DO they let you know what time the excursion people start getting off? I don't want to wait in the long lines with them. WE aren't doing any excursions thru Carnival. Thanks for any info. Debbie 04/30/
Rare Roz Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 On most ships, preference is given to passengers who are doing ship-sponsored excursions. Sometimes you have to get a number to get off the ship before a certain time. After that, you can get off any time you want to. I doubt you'll be able to debark before the shore ex folks. springtxbill Posted April 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2006 If it is a tendered port, the excursion pax have priority departure. If the ship is docked, there is no difference in the time of departure, as soon as the ship is cleared by local officials.:)
obnurse Posted April 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Just a little "head's up"....we almost missed our excursion on our Carnival cruise to Grand Cayman, since we booked independently. You might have to be a little assertive to get off the ship as soon as you can or be careful not to book your excursions too early.
