Where to Eat in South Beach, Miami?

If you are talking the hard core South Beach then there are just so many 'trendy' places that it would be hard to choose....just walk and pick one. But if you are talking off the tourist strip and just that part of town I'm partial to Monty's. There is a good sit down dining room, but I'm partial to the rest' out back....the raw bar. You can sit by the pool, enjoy a meal and watch the ships go back and forth in Government Cut. Stone crab, conch chowder, Mahi sandwich, hmmmm - makes me hungry for lunch...

 

Or if you like standing in line and high prices, Joe's Stone Crab, if in season, is an event.

Joe's is the place. Go for lunch or right when they open for dinner. Stone Crab season ends in 2 weeks.
