Legend Questions...

We're saling Legend in Sept for the first time, so we have a few questions

1. Do the balcony doors slide, or do they swing in/out? Or might it depend on the category? (We booked a Balcony guarantee, so we don't know where we'll be.)

2. Is there a bar/lounge dedicated to live jazz music?

3. Is there usually a passenger talent show?

4. Are there laundry rooms on every cabin level? (Beats overpacking in my book…)

Thanks.

1. Balcony doors swing open, they swing in.

2. No jazz music in these lounges, unless the Piano guy plays some

3. The passenger talent show was replaced with the Legends Show

4. Yes there are laundry rooms in each deck or every other deck, usually midship.

.

When we were on the Legend in November.... they had the passenger talent show one night, and the Legends show another night.

This was for an 8 day Southern from FLL.

There was a talent show and the Legends show on our cruise in March as well. Our extended balcony on deck 8 opened out to the balcony. Also a 3 piece jazz ensemble near the Odyssey lounge.

On the LEGEND about 2 1/2 years ago out of NYC there was a fantastic jazz group in the Cigar Bar. :)

A glass of sherry, a Monte Cristo #2, and a great jazz group . . . . ah thou paradise were enow. It just doesn't get any better. :D

Which bar is the cigar bar on Legend?

I was on the Legend in Feb. and the balcony door opened out toward the balcony. In other posts one item that is suggested to take is a bungee cord to keep the door open. Passengers hook it around the door to the partition that divides the balconies.

The Golden Fleece is well worth the $30 dollar uplift. If you go to the resturant the first day you can pick out the day, time, and even the table you would like to sit at. I would suggest one closer to were the band plays, it's very nice.

We loved the Golden Fleece as well. The staff there was wonderful. We especially liked the couple who sang and played music... they were terrific.

This experience was special.... and is probably something we will do on every cruise for one special night.

Are the tips added on to the golden fleece bill or do you have to tip them separately?

The service change includes the tip, but if you wish to tip extra, there's a place to add it.
