Mercury FO Cabin 8259 ????

HELP!!

 

For anyone who's stayed in the FO Cabins, on the Panorama Deck aboard the Mercury, how were these cabins? Quiet location? Being above the Pavilion Nightclub, did you hear music late at night?

 

We have an opportunity to book cabin 8259 for an 11-night Hawaiian Island cruise in late 2007. It's the only one left. It would be me, my wife, and 9 yr old son sharing this cabin.

 

Pros and Cons?

We stayed in a Century FO cabin on the Panorama Deck. You could hear the bass notes from the nightclub below but we were ok with it. I have read posts on this board from others who objected to the noise.

 

These cabins are very nice when you are trying to book them for more than 2 people. The extra space and beds come in handy--esp for a longer cruise such as yours.
