Rare Roland4 Posted May 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2006 We leave in three weeks for Quito and are giving serious thought to packing. This request is directed to the females in the audience on my DW's behalf. What types of clothes did you take for the evenings? Was there anything you took that you could have left at home? Is there anything you left at home that wish you had brought along? It's fairly easy for me; polos, shorts and dockers. We are keeping in mind the advice of drfun48 on the Roll Call thread. Lay out what you think you need and then leave half of it at home!! Thanks in advance for your assistance.
SheilaNC Posted May 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Hi, DrFun48 is absolutely correct! You really don't need much besides bathing suits, shorts, t shirts, sunscreen, hat, long sleeve shirt (for sun protection and cool evenings). Most women wore capri pants and tops in the evening. If you plan to be out on deck, a light sweater is good. I took one pair of long pants and didn't wear them. The best bet is a few extra tops and repeat the bottoms...Really could have done the whole trip with a duffle for each of us. You'll love it! It's a life-changing experience! cruisePRN Posted May 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2006 it's very casual so pack light and leave dresses and heels at home.
cruiselover20 Posted May 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2006 We loved our trip! Just one wheel 20" is plenty. There is a laundry on the ship, so I just sent my clothes out, and had plenty of things. It is a fun trip, and they "do it right" Enjoy, and do not over pack.
