HopingtoCruiseSoon Posted June 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Hello - My extended family and I are trying to decide on a cruise for next April and one of our choices is the 6 day Western cruise on the Jewel. In looking at the deck plans it appears that there are only 2 or 3 pools. One appears to be a teen pool and the other is for everyone else? Is there no pool for just kids or for families vs. one for adults? Thanks!
Rare xpcdoojk Posted June 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2004 The main pool is available to everyone. jc

Tinosa Posted June 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2004 There are 3 pools on the Jewel. 1 "Kiddy" pool which has a slide. 1 "Main" pool which is open to everyone and 1 "Adult" pool which is in the solarium and is generally reserved for adults, unless the ship is in cold climates and then it may be open for everyone as it is enclosed. Globaliser Posted June 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2004 There are photos of the main pool and the solarium pool in my Jewel photos - the link is in my signature. Also, if you have a look at the daily planners right at the end of the album, you'll see the (inconsistent) attempts to keep the solarium pool free of younger children.
