Need help with cruise for large family!!

Hey guys, a friend of mine and her husband are trying to plan a seven nighter out of Galveston. She said taht she is havin some problems with online booking because she can only book for up to four poeple in her room. THe problems is that she and her husband have three kids. So that makes five. Will she have a problem with getting all of her children into her one room. She also wants a good recommendation on which room she and her hubby should book.

You cannot book more than 4 people in a room online. To book 5 or more people in a room, then you have to call to book.

 

On Rhapsody, the options for a family of 5 to be in one room are the Royal Family Suite or a Family Oceanview Stateroom. These require a minimum of 5 people to book and cannot be booked over the internet. They'll have to call to book these. They may also be able to book 5 people into a Grand Suite or Owner's Suite, but again they would have to call.

 

The other option is for the family to get 2 connecting staterooms, but again they'd probably have to call to make sure 2 connecting staterooms are available.

 

With all of these, they need to call as soon as possible as there are few RFS or FOS on the ship, same thing with connecting staterooms and they go fast.

you need to call them. We have found with 5 people that 2 connecting oceanview or interior staterooms are usually cheaper than the royal family suite or family oceanview stateroom. At least in the last two cruises we were on.
