Can A Canadian transfer a reservation to an American TA?

I'm forming a group for the August 3, 2007 sailing on Explorer of the Seas and, someone emailed me from Canada that they'd be interested but, they aren't sure if they can transfer their Canadian booking over to an American travel agent. Has anyone done this successfully?

 

**The booking was made directly with the cruise line, not through another TA

They should just cancel and book with the group

The only way you can transfer to a US TA is if you originally booked in US $$. If you're deposit was made with Canadian $$ you're out of luck (I learned this the hard way).

Unfortunately, the only way to do it is to rebook. If the category is sold out, then you're out of luck...
