Princess CruiseTour 3S or 6S?

Would like some advice on which of these two tours would be preferable.

3S has 2 nights in Fairbanks with El Dorado gold mine and sternwheeler river cruise; 2 nights in Denali with the Tundra Wilderness Tour; and the Denali Express to Whittier for embarkation on day 5.

6S has one night in Fairbanks, rail to Denali where we would spend one night; Natural History Tour next morning, then bus to Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge; Day 4 transfers to Takeena, then train to Anchorage where we would spend the night; Day 5 bus from Anchorage to Whittier for embarkation.

We've read on the Princess board where the tundra wilderness tour in Denali is much superior to the Natural History Tour.

We're two seniors who will be accompanied by our 18-year old granddaughter.

Thanks for any advice on this.

Mike

As you can probably guess, I have nothing good to say about the Natural History tour. So my suggestion would be 3S. BUT there isn't likely to be anyone near your grand daughter's age on the tours. Determine if that is a factor to consider??
