Our friends are cuising to AK on Princess this summer with another couple and have told us that the partitions can be removed between their rooms, so that they can all enjoy the combined balcony space together. Is the same true for the Summit????

In my experience, most of the balconies cannot be opened up, however there are a "few" cabins that can open up the balconies - these that I know of are on the penthouse deck aft. We were in 6144. Our cabin and the Celebrity suite next to us could open the partition by simply unlatching a little sliding lock and it would then swing open. I do not know of any other places on the ship that this would be true, but I suspect that it would.
