Victoria Whale Watching

Recommended Posts

We are going on NCL on Sept. 10. Will be in Victoria at 6:30 PM and

leave at 11:00 PM. NCL offers a whale watching at 7:00 PM. Has anyone

ever done this? Wouldn't it be dark by then? Just wondering. Thanks.

I always whale watch whenever I'm in Victoria. But your timeframe will have part of your trip dark. However, this could be a generic shore excursion list and they may not run this tour anyway, that late in the season.

BQ, how does whale-watching in Victoria compare to whale-watching in Juneau?

I most always go with Seacoast Expediations. But for cruise passengers, Prince of Whales is the most convenient, since it is right on the Inner Harbor. But consider going in the zodiacs, superior viewing in my opinion.
