Jugs Posted June 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2006 We are going on NCL on Sept. 10. Will be in Victoria at 6:30 PM and leave at 11:00 PM. NCL offers a whale watching at 7:00 PM. Has anyone ever done this? Wouldn't it be dark by then? Just wondering. Thanks.
Budget Queen Posted June 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2006 I always whale watch whenever I'm in Victoria. But your timeframe will have part of your trip dark. However, this could be a generic shore excursion list and they may not run this tour anyway, that late in the season.

Budget Queen Posted June 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2006 If you want orcas, go out of Victoria, Humpbacks- go out of Juneau.
Joy2Day Posted July 5, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2006 BQ, Do you have a preferred vendor/time of day out of Victoria? We'll be in Victoria on Sept 17 from 8-5. Karla
Budget Queen Posted July 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2006 I most always go with Seacoast Expediations. But for cruise passengers, Prince of Whales is the most convenient, since it is right on the Inner Harbor. But consider going in the zodiacs, superior viewing in my opinion.
