Question About Reading Deck Plans

When looking at cabin locations on the deck plans in the Princess brochure I noticed that right above the elevators they draw in what looks like 2 groups of 4 boxes each,with lines running thru, in a sort of yellow/brown color. Does anyone know what these are supposed to represent? And is it bad to have a cabin nearby?

They are stairs.

 

If so, I think being near stairs and elevators makes for a great location!

Yes, they represent stairs. You generally won't have any problem with a cabin near stairs or elevators.

We were midship on the Crown's Inaugural. We loved the location and never heard noise from people using the elevators or stairs.
