Closest Airport for the Crown

Thinking of taking the Crown in September. we are from Boston, and want to know which airport is the closest to the port, also how long is it from the airport to the port? Anyone know the cost of a cab from airport to port, or is there any other transportation available.

I think LGa would be best with shuttles from logan . BTW which Sep sailing?

By the time you get to the airport wait in line, get the plane land in NY you could drive. Its only 4 hours from Boston to NY...

Not that you asked! I was thinking the same thing. I live about 90 miles south of the port(Red Hook) and about 15 miles from Philadelphia Airport.I make the trip to Boston in about 5 1/2 to 6 hours depending on traffic. Each time I head for Boston I consider flying until I realize how much time I'll waste in the airport...

Thanks, I think we have agreed that driving from Boston would be more economical and faster than air travel.

Not necessarily if you fly Jet Blue into Kennedy- which is closest to Red Hook- and you get one of their good airfares.
