Nightengale31 Posted October 10, 2010 #276 Share Posted October 10, 2010 My 5 essentials: 1. Tempur-Pedic travel mattress topper and pilow - expensive but for me worth it's weight in gold as I have a bad back. 2. Kindle with charger cord - another great invention for those who can read a number of books while cruising but hate to lug them all. 3. Small tube of Fixadent in case I pop a veneer or crown which I have done while traveling. 4. Scissors 5. A written list of all my credit card numbers and their customer service phone numbers which comes in handy if you have to cancel immediately if they get lost. Also passport, driver's license, and health and dental insurance numbers go on this list. __________________________________________________________________ Golden Princess 2005 Caribbean Princess 2006 Golden Princess 2007 Coral Princess 10/26/10 - Panama Canal Partial Transit - Already packed and ready to go :)

LaWeezy Posted December 5, 2010 #281 Share Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) You are allowed non alcohol bev on most cruise lines and pay a $15 corking fee for wine - or more depending on the size of the bottles. What I can't figure out are these people who bring their own sheets, beds, toppers for the beds - I mean I have 3 bags going now for DH and I, with none of these things. Although I do have a quite a few of the small things mentioned - I am going to use them - even if I don't need to - just to justify bringing them to my DH  Edited December 5, 2010 by LaWeezy
