fresh water on Jewel?

Hi,

We have just booked the Jewel of the Seas for next April. Does anyone know if the pools are fresh water or Sea water? I had heard RCL was going to change all the pools to fresh water.

I'm not sure on this but when we were on the Mariner last July, I am pretty sure the pools were all salt water (although I didn't swim). As far as I know, Princess and Disney are the only cruise lines that have fresh water pools (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I haven't heard anything about RCCL changing their pools from salt water to fresh water, but who knows.

The only RCI ship with fresh water pools is Freedom.

Yep, was on the Jewel and they are definitely salt water...

If you want fresh water pools go on Princess where all the pools are fresh water.

The whirlpool/hot tubs are fresh treated water. Pools are salt--sorry!

Is that true about the Freedom - that it is fresh water? I thought all of RCCL ships were salt water.
